250,000 and Counting

My mom found a swarm of honey bees in the back yard today. This isn’t the first time that this has happened, but it is the first time that I have been home to witness the event. What does one do with a swarm of bees, you ask? One calls in the Bee Man to catch them. Then he gives you a bunch of honey and some bee’s wax, if you want it. He estimated that there were about 250,000 bees in the last swarm, so let’s say that there are at least that many in the pictures. If the bees stick around and he comes, I’ll post some pics of him catching them, so check back in a couple days.
UPDATE:The darn bees left 30 minutes before the bee man showed up. Damn! Oh well, I was golfing anyway, so I wouldn’t have gotten any pics.
