About Camp No Friends

Camp No Friends is a collection of short pieces of variable quality, updated on an irregular and infrequent basis, that we hope you may enjoy. In most cases you probably will not. Sorry. Recurring themes include lame attempts at comedy, pointless personal experiences, and insufferable music analysis.

There are three contributors to Camp No Friends:

LobaGirl regularly fastens jewels to her Queen Nerd crown as a grad student in an anonymous East Coast French department. She enjoys doing yoga while watching The Daily Show and overanalyzing books by Jacques Godbout. Currently, her potential cat names of choice are Fritters and Frou-frou.

Parsley is a deformed halfwit who has meditated with Zen masters, locked eyes with Bob Dylan at 20 paces, and been attacked by the vengeful spirits of dead sorority girls. His greatest ambition is to write, produce, and direct a feature film entitled Math Club that would combine the best qualities of Fight Club and A Beautiful Mind.

Zedd is pinballing around the country trying to figure out what the hell to do with his pathetic existence. Right Now, he's in Washington, DC working for a while and is planning a 'West Coast or Bust' trip once he's done there. If you are, or are planning to be in any of these areas and would like to enter the "Become Zedd's First Friend" contest send a SASEmail to Zedd with subject line "BZFF" Cheers.

The tale of Camp No Friends is not interesting, but nevertheless it is available for your perusal.

Boring technical details:

Camp No Friends will look boring in ancient browsers like Netscape 4. If you are still using these antiques, you would probably be happier with something newer. Some features of the site that are not particularly interesting are not currently available to Internet Explorer users. We're working on it. You should probably be using something better anyway.
